Mold Inspection & Consulting

Our inspection and consulting service starts with your phone call.  Our extensive knowledge of residential and commercial construction provides a great advantage to you over other inspection companies.  It isn't always as easy a water loss from a flood, plumbing or a roof leak.  Shabby workmanship or shortcuts taken during construction or remodeling can cause issues that often aren't noticed for years.  Our inspections are very thorough and we are very diligent in our effort to locate all mold issues.  If we suspect that there may be mold issues that are hidden behind cabinets, paneling or wainscoting we bring the K9 mold detecting dog in to verify the existence of mold.  If the K9 does locate mold then we recommend a more extensive evaluation or strategic inspection with minimal damage in order to visually evaluate the conditions.

 All of our inspections will evaluate weatherization issues that can cause mold to develop.  There is no additional charge for this service; it is included with every consultation.  We check the exterior for soffit ventilation, caulking, rotten wood frames, grade issues and window well depths just to name a few items.  Our interior inspection involves looking in every crack and crevice of the building along with the attic if accessible.  We check moisture readings and can use a FLIR camera to locate possible water intrusions or poorly insulated walls or leaking windows or doors.  We also include recommendations for improving the conditions in order to prevent any mold or moisture from developing.

All improvements can be done by our company except foundations, HVAC and roof replacement in which case we can recommend quality companies we have worked with in the past.
